About The Event

Melodic Gothic Rock from Whitby. Luciferia (vocals), Karl (guitar) and Dominique (bass) create dark & emotional, yet uplifting & danceable songs that will appeal to fans of Siouxsie & The Banshees, Fields of The Nephilim, Within Temptation and Evanescence.

Since exploding onto the UK goth scene in 2019 ::WESTENRA:: have been building a reputation for captivating live performances of their stylish and atmospheric sound. Their debut album “First Light” was released in January 2021 to rave reviews, followed by a cover version of the Cliff Richard classic “Devil Woman” in March 2022 - a taster for the new, bigger sound featured on the four track EP “BREATHE” which was released in July 2022. Their version of Iron Maiden’s “Number of The Beast” - originally meant as an exclusive live performance to celebrate their headlining the Whitby Krampus Run Ball - was released in February 2023, with proceeds going to the Whitby Krampus Run chosen charities.

May 2022 saw Whitby Abbey invite the band to perform within its grounds as part of their celebrations for the 125th anniversary of the novel Dracula - this generated substantial national and international exposure for the band, with the area that they preformed in front of now known as “The ::WESTENRA:: Arches”.

2023 will be another exciting year for ::WESTENRA:: as they will be releasing new material ahead of playing the prestigious TOMORROW’S GHOSTS FESTIVAL in Whitby in October, supporting gothic rock superstars THE MISSION.

Recently reviewed as one of the most underrated bands in the North East with a style impossible to pigeonhole. Industrial, alternative, heavy, dark, synth, rock and metal are but a few adjectives employed to describe the sound of the creative duo that is PLAY/DEAD. Roy Mc – an accomplished classical composer, writer and musical oddity.

And Mr Rochester – a self-styled and innovative provocateur, create scores which delve deep in humanities more carnal ruminations. Part autobiographical, part concept PLAY/DEAD explore love, hate, death, religion, desire, greed, control, submission and everything else lurking in the cracks in between.

PLAY/DEAD have released two full length studio albums. Suicide, Rock & Roll (2018) and Subliminal Messages (2022) Their music is a journey of symbolism, introspection and contemplation. Know for volatile, punk rock level live performances, wit and satire there isn’t anything else out there quite like PLAY/DEAD. Fans of Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Rammstein and Marilyn Manson will not be disappointed.

Dimension Breakers are a fusion of revolutionary music and controversial facts of human existence. Each band member has a wide musical background that makes this band one of its kind. Our goal is to deliver unique piece of art, unforgettable experiences of our performances and make people aware of the true value of life.

We wish both listeners and musicians stop supporting abusive practices of streaming platforms, and start supporting hard working artists who do their best to bring joy to their fans.
