Rock Steady Foundation Day - Rock School

The Studio is thrilled to announce the launch of Rock Steady School Foundation Days, an exciting and educational initiative aimed at introducing children aged 8-14 to the world of rock music. This unique event will provide a free rock school morning, offering young talents the opportunity to discover and explore their musical potential.

The Studio, known for its commitment to fostering creativity and passion for the arts, is hosting the second Rock Steady School Foundation Days on Saturday 29th May 2024, from 09:00 am – 12:00pm. This event promises an engaging and dynamic experience for children, encouraging them to pick up instruments, make new friends, and embark on a musical journey like no other.

Expert instructors will conduct hands-on workshops, introducing children to a variety of musical instruments commonly used in rock music. From guitars and drums to keyboards, participants will have the chance to try them all under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Rock Steady School Foundation Days is not just about playing instruments—it's about collaboration. Children will have the chance to form their own mini-bands, fostering teamwork and cooperation as they create music together.

The day will culminate in a special showcase where the young rockers can take the stage and share their newfound musical skills with family and friends. This performance will be a celebration of creativity and a testament to the progress made during the Rock Steady School Foundation Days.

The Studio believes in making the arts accessible to all. This event is entirely free of charge, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the joy of creating music. Spaces are limited so booking is essential. 

Children will be in the capable of hands of DBS checked Rock Steady Foundation tutors who already teach music in a number of schools throughout Hartlepool and the wider Teesside area.
